About the training

The training course is aimed at studying the methods and tools of project management (from the initiation of the project to its completion), the formation of an understanding of the project management processes and the relationships between them, as well as the formation of a holistic vision of the project management system. Combines the study of methodology with the consolidation of acquired knowledge in practice.

    • Module 2: Project Management Environment
      Project life cycle and product life cycle. Stakeholders of the project. Appointment of a project manager. Influence of the organization on projects. Powers of the project manager in various organizational structures. Project management processes.
    • Module 3: Initiation Process Group
      Basic methods, tools and techniques. Purpose and strategy of the project. Criteria for success and failure of the project. Development of the Charter of the project. Identification of project stakeholders.
    • Module 4: Planning Process Group
      Development of the Project Management Plan. Collection of requirements, definition of content, creation of WBS. Operation resource estimation. Operation duration estimation. Schedule development. Estimating costs, determining the budget. Quality planning. Development of a human resource management plan. Communication planning. Project risk management planning, development of a project risk response plan. Procurement planning.
      Practical work: completing assignments, defending solutions, analyzing and adjustment actions.
    • Module 5: Execution Process Group
      Project execution management. Cost and financing of the project. Quality assurance. Recruitment, development and management of the project team. Distribution of information. Managing the expectations of project stakeholders. Risk mitigation methods. Procurement.
    • Module 6: Monitoring and Control Process Group
      Project execution management. Change management system. Analysis of the progress and deviations of the project. Monitoring of the risk management plan. Performance reporting. Project monitoring and management.
    • Module 7: Terminating Process Group
      Completion of a project or phase. Closing purchases.
      Final control work: performance of assignments, defending projects, analysis and adjustment actions.
